My question is, do the Dave McKean stamps smell authentically like the mythical creatures that they depict? Because I *do* so love the smell of sphinx in the morning.

Unicorns come in all sorts of interesting scents - perhaps that's how we modern readers can tell the breeds of unicorns apart from each other? I wonder - if the stamps were scented - which breed of unicorn was chosen for these?

I HAVE to get a set of the mythical creature stamps! I'm coming to London in August (are you free at all then? taldragon and I will definitely be meeting up) and I must find a post office. So cool!

Yes, August is currently a fairly versatile month for me and I'm not planning on leaving the country then. Surely we could coordinate schedules then.

O yay! I'm not sure what the exact dates are yet but I will be somewhere in the vicinity of 128-129 Cheapside
London, England EC2V 6BT, which is where our London office is located.

Thanks for the reminder about the Dave McKean stamps - I'd been meaning to get a set. So I've just bought a first day cover for the first time in nearly thirty years.

Hurrah, Josiah Wedgewood has his classical motifs behind him!

The McKean stamps are good fun.
