It's like Mordor before Sauron got the diggers in.

Heh... I thought it was a playmobil tree stump. Isn't that a little... um... SHORT for a volcano. A playmobil person is about that tall I think.

Fine, fine, I'll set it up with a person so you can see that it's taller. Also with a tree, for perspective.

Ooooh... with several people... fleeing in terror! Also maybe some kind of ritual to throw people in the volcano. Could there be a three headed monkey too?

There you go. A tall pine tree (I have short ones too), a medium-height bare-limbed tree, a normal-height adult alien, Little Red Riding Hood, and a chicken for perspective.

Oh... OK, I was totally wrong it is much taller than it looks...

a normal-height adult alien

You know, in retrospect that wasn't the best choice for giving perspective, I mean what *is* normal on their planet. I will calibrate using the chicken. :-)

Let me guess, the chicken is about to sacrifice Little Red Riding Hood while the alien watches bemused?

Those individuals look far too sanguine to be standing next to a potentially explosive volcano.

Unless, that is, they are volcanologists (sp?). Are they?

They're not volcanologists; they're inattentive.

They may find that an issue in future, one would think...

I'm more worried that they'd then start again from scratch and it would just last longer. On the other hand, it's more challenging to build a shed on hot lava.
