Fishy Circumstances

Earlier than usual

How strange timing is sometimes. C. is working from home today, but I'm going to be in near campus. Not actually at campus, due to the issues listed a day or two ago, but near it. I've been hired to do some databasing by one of the professors, which will also put me near campus for running some assorted errands, including attempting to get my very own carrel at the library.

As long as I've had enough sleep, I really do like being up earlier than normal. Sure, it's not early per se, but I always feel as if I have more of a day this way. There are more different hours available to me.

I'll write about last night's dinner later, but suffice to say, I thought it was really, really good. We tried out a salad recipe from a cookbook I'd forgotten I owned.

On the bright side, the Pepper Thieves neglected to pay the plants a visit last night, as far as I could tell from a casual glance out at the deck. Hurray! A night's reprieve.
