Still moving

easterbunny is one clever rabbit. Thanks to her good advice, over the past 24 hours, I've managed to rid myself of several awkward-but-small items of furniture by leaving them on the curb, one at a time, with a sign labelled "Free" on them.

After a spate of cancellations yesterday, I have a slew of people coming today to consider relieving me of furniture. double0hilly, ballincollig, and B.A. have already been exceedingly helpful on that front in the past few hours.

Despite the endless random little things to be dealt with, this has been a fairly relaxing moving process so far. I've never had most of my boxes packed and gone a week before the move was actually going to happen. (Most of my moves have involved a stressful and sleepless final 48 hours.) I've had time to be happily social, if not the concentration for work or more passive entertainments like move-going. Most of my problems at the moment can be solved by the use of trash bags or mailing packages to all the corners of the world. Or leaving them on the curb, one at a time, with a sign labelled "Free" on them.
