Much and little

There's much I could update about, but when it comes down to it, I'm just busily running around doing non-crucial but deceptively urgent things in preparation for my trip home this evening. I want to make it in to campus in time to pick up my new health card before having lunch with a friend before helping to prepare for a BBQ before going to a reception before catching a taxi to the airport. You get the idea. There's a decent chance I won't be able to post more before I return on Tuesday, which will mean I'll have lots of exciting entries of other peoples' to look forward to catching up on.

In other news.... a friend of mine who's going overseas to do graduate work (Cardiff) just made her own LJ - so I've finally used up one of my invite codes. I don't know her username yet, but I'll find out next week or so.
